About Komodo
The Komodo dragon is world famous. These huge lizards live on an island that matches their prehistoric appearance: extremely dry, rocky and – apart from thorn bushes and the odd palm – barren. In order to protect this unique reptile and its environment, the Komodo National Park was formed and the archipelago is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Komodo can be reached by daytrip from Labuan Baya and by live aboard from Bali.

Alor

About Alor
Alor is an archipelago to the north of Timor. The road over land to the dive spots is very difficult but especially interesting. The trip takes in hilly terrain, where isolated tribes each have their own culture and language. The dive spots are ultimately reached by motor boat. The erratic coastline makes navigation difficult. The area can be experienced mainly by live aboard.

Maratua

About Maratua
About 50 km from Borneo lies the small island of Maratua. Easy to get to it is not. If you don’t live in the area, then expect an inland flight or two and a three hour boat trip. You wouldn’t do this trip for nothing. You will find an idyllic and largely ignored island with long white sandy beaches and palm trees.
