Peace and quiet and nature
The easiest way to Khao Lak is to fly to Phuket. From there you can drive to your destination in one-and-a-half hour. Khao Lak is a quiet place. Shops and restaurants enough, but nightclubs you won’t find. Plenty of resorts. You won’t need a reservation to find a nice room or a luxury bungalow. In the vicinity of Khao Lak you can enjoy the views of waterfalls, rivers and lagoons. The neighbouring National Park characterised by the beautiful combination of jungle and rocky capes.

Mu Koh Surin

About Mu Koh Surin
Mu Koh Surin lies north of Mu Koh Similan. Of the five islands, only the main island, Koh Surin Noa is inhabited. The headquarters of the supervisors, a small fishing village and a settlement of sea gypsies are located here. It is possible to stay on the island. The managers of the grounds rent bungalows and tents. There is no luxury, just peace. On Koh Surin Noa you can walk through rain forest and along mangroves. There are also many small beaches. A live-aboard from Koh Phuket or Khao Lak is the most popular way to visit Mu Koh Surin.

Koh Lanta

Away from the rush
Koh Lanta consists of several islands. Koh Lanta Noi and Koh Lanta Yai are the largest and most important. Koh Lanta is not so touristic as the proximate destinations Phuket and Ko Phi Phi. Of course here too are many bars and restaurants, but tourism here has not been developed that far. Also, the party atmosphere is much less excessive. For this and other reasons, Koh Lanta is a good family destination. At the beaches of the westcoast you can find resorts and bungalows. Koh Lanta is accessible by boat from Krabi, Ao Nang and Phuket.
